Am Morgen haben wir uns von einem Waymo abholen lassen. Diese Fahrzeuge fahren autonom durch San Francisco. Der Fahrersitz existiert zwar noch, darf allerdings nicht verwendet werden. Die sanfte Fahrt war sehr angenehm und hat uns gut zum Bahnhof gebracht.

Zurück an unserem, noch manuell zu fahrendem Auto, ging es erst über die Golden Gate Bridge und dann weiter in Richtung Norden. Wir habe den historischen Highway 1 gewählt, der zwar sehr viel kurviger ist aber landschaftlich sehr schön ist.

Zum Brunch wurden wir mal wieder auf den Eiermangel aufmerksam. Gerichte mit Eiern habe 1,50 $ Aufpreis gekostet.

Danach ging es weiter in Richtung Norden. Langsam haben wir auch schon erste Ausläufer des Redwood Forests erreicht.

Morgen geht es dann weiter nach Oregon und davor noch durch die Redwoods.

      Naja es geht. Es gibt schon überall Eier aber sie sind halt einfach teurer. Den extra Preis im Restaurant haben wir dort zum ersten Mal gesehen.
